Newboy
I'm thinking of making some form of deckwash/hosedown, like the one Martin has on his boat. Any idea how to make one? How about a small bilge pump 'dangles' over the side with a length of hose pipe?
Afishionado
That'll do it. Also I have an idea that a self powered feed could be fixed up so that the boats speed thro' the water forces sea water up a copper pipe via a stop cock to a hose. I am going to try it (the idea) when I fit out my next project boat. Mad Mike
Maverick Martin
Mike That idea works as several boats use this method to get fresh water to their bait tanks. But obviously only works when underway. Much more conveinient flicking a switch then it works whenever Martin
