Rod holder socket

Hi all here I go again!! Does anyone have 2 rod holder sockets, the type that go into the gunwale and sit flush, sorry to be ''picky'' but not the type that screw or bolt on to the side of the gunwale. tight lines, Derek.

Incidently - these make superb fittings for removable bait tables.

 

Turn them upsidedown and screw to a chopping board - take two pieces of (I think) 1 1/4" waste pipe which fit snugly over them and then insert into a rocket laucher type rod holder.

 

There's a piccy on here somewhere when I did it on Out of the Blue.

I am using mine to screw to the deck in an inverted position to take the legs of a small bar stool as a helm seat,, ( I hope) Derek.

Don't forget that it will soon be illegal to drink and drive a boat! (hic)

The bar stool may not be a good idea if screwed down next to the bar. (hic)
