Gas
Our son came with us this weekend to try for a Ray or Conger, but the chop was too much and the mark were too far. So we headed for Swanage and shelter, after an hour and just doggies and Mackerel it was quite noticeable that only a few boats were out fishing with a couple of charters. still looking at marks that I had close to Swanage. True Blue passed close and started to set a drift quite close, so I slipped in behind after 30 mins he moved off and then Jackie had a great bite which she lifted into, our first Blond Ray on Abode11 it
pirky
Craig... Yeah a pity that.....I tried to raise you on CH6 but to no avail. I noticed that not many fishing boats were out and about on Saturday too.....I was wondering if "they knew something I didn't". Must admit I was again pleasantly surprised by Now or Never.......even though at times the long swell and choppy sides to the swell sometimes "broke" over the bow....she stayed dry and quite a stable platform throughout. Even so ....would have been nice to have a "buddie" close by !! Maybe next time !! JD's must have been out in force this weekend. Well done Dave
great white
Hi Craig Well done mate both on getting out and on getting another blonde [two in picture ] on the boat. We had a plan to try and get out, to see if we could make up for last Sunday. we were all hoping for an offshore trip. after reading todays reports about the weather here and at Weymouth I doubt that would have been possible. But in a flurry of jobs at home on sat I managed to pull a muscle in my back whilst cutting the top of my high hedge. I had to take the sensible route, get Dan to finish the hedge and cancel Sundays fishing Never mind there is always another chance Charlie

Freddie
Once again Craig I enjoyed your report & was v pleased to see that you had remembered to recharge your batteries. How much did the ray weigh? (The blonde one!)
