It doesn't sound good, but fingers crossed for a happy conclusion.

A friend of mine at work was out with the RNLI crew till 4am this morning looking for this man.It was a 2mtr Rib they found.He said it was seen at about 4.30pm yesterday around Barton area,not sure if it had anyone onboard then.

Just spoken with the Coastguard......this is still alive incident....

 

.....unfortunately we saw nothing ! .........not when we went out nor on our return.

 

We were expecting to see Dawn Raider stuck on the Bar but they had obviously managed to get off before 4 pm.

 

Hope it ends well........but seems a bit mysterious!

Im afraid I saw him and watched him messing around on the bar at low water for 45mins as we waited, he was in a small grey rib/rubber duck! he didnt seem to be in distress and was only 100yards from us but kept wizzing back out to sea, we wondered what he was upto as there was no way he would get up the run at dead LW, he had a fishing rod and landing net in the boat with him!!he then vanished we didn't realise at the time that he could have gone over we thought he went in to the beach!or back out fishing! I phoned the coastguard this morning, aparently we were the last people to see him. I gave them your number Alun as you came in after us incase you saw something too.
