Joint Venture is taking advantage of the weather!

Many years ago was on a charter out of Keyhaven and skipper had anchored on the Shingles bank. Weather was crap ,very low cloud misty and drizzling vis about 50m . A helicopter roared overhead at really low altitude followed by a roaring as a Peter Stuyvesant Cigarette boat flew past at probably 80mph within our 50m vis on the port side closely followed by another power boat at high speed on the starboard side. Skipper commented in between expletives that he had forgotten it was the powerboat race and there was no point in moving as we couldn't out run them. Scared I 😲
