    Pinnacle marine

Hi All My boat has had a fair few Gremlins since buying it last August and has been looked after by Richard at Pinnacle marine. I cannot recommend Richard enough and goes the extra mile everytime I have an issue. He is based out of Parkstone yacht club and I highly recommend him and his work. He has now travelled several times at short notice to swanage to keep me afloat and enjoying the boat. The same cannot be said for other local marine businesses. I'm sure he would be more than happy to help any other club members. Regards Sam Sent from my SM-G996B using Tapatalk

All good to go, everything sorted but I'm afraid I have no connections to ensure suitable weather, anyone know a priest? Terry.

Can We take it from that positive message, that you have spoken to the accommodation owners and all is good, so we can all go back to worrying about weather forecasting.

I have received the same information as Ian so the important question is, how many of us are double vaccinated with a 14 day gap from the last one on the day of departure. I'm o/k so will be able to go. Perhaps we will need a bit of doubling up on participating boats? Please attend to this ASAP as the B&B's will need to know. Terry.

Kingfisher stayed close in the bay as had engine overheating problem, now boat out of the water and engine out of the boat. Busy day lots of fish but lots of repeats. 12 species for us.

Terry had a 6-8 (I think) brill on Tigerfish last time we were over. I think that would have scooped the prize 😁

Loobie 1V had IAN Simpson on board who I hadn’t see for 24 months, he hadn’t changed🤣🤣🤣 and Jerry 2. We had a relaxed but busy day catching 18 Species including Small Eyed Ray LSD Black Bream Conger Red Gurnard Ballan Wrasse Baillons Wrasse Corkwing Wrasse Goldsinny Wrasse Bass Thin lipped Mullet Tope Turbot Poor Cod Tompot Blenny Mackerel Pout Plaice The most exciting thing about the day was the huge amounts of Mackerel everywhere, just like the old days, brilliant. Unfortunately for us the first of half a dozen Plaice came 20 minutes after our 7hrs fishing time. So 17 species. I will confirm results in 12-24 hours. Jerry

Madness had loads of Bream, dogfish, pout, conger, mackerel (on worm) so only 5 species but it was a very busy day with very little breeze down the xchurch ledge way. Also had a brittle starfish so that Mark could be interesting later in the autumn/winter

We’ve been down today on a 1.2m tide and had up to 2.6 knots tide so pretty much ideal. I wouldn’t want more than that. We we’re chatting onboard today about the possibility of going to Alderney and no going ashore just staying onboard and being self sufficient for a couple of days?

O/k, as I'm sat doing nothing with gout in my right foot, I've 'phoned around everyone and it appears that we are all good to go, being of 'a certain age' except for Adam so, there's some benefit to being an old git; sorry Chris! All very happy to be going so, can we say it's back on? Ian and Adam will be making a decision on their way forward and will, presumably, let us know in due course. This is all good because it saves me having to get into negotiations about returned deposits. Terry.
