  1. We had 42 bass in total, so a good day but couldn’t find any decent sizes. Gary W 3lb 10oz Kev Couzens 3lb 8oz all others between these and 2 1/2lb. Good sport for the day and weather turned out great. 👍

  3. My brother could not make the trip, so I did not return a catch report. I did have a small 2lb bass whilst sitting at anchor. Also, happy to report a good-sized blonde ray up our end of the bay which is nice to see.

  11. Phil and I decided to stay within the confines of the harbour and ended very happy that we did. Started our day around the back of the islands on a flat calm sea. We were instantly into checker bass along with guilt Head Bream, snotty eel, Smooth hound, Dogfish, spider crab with nonstop action. We decided on a move that produced a slightly larger bass for Phill of 2lb 2oz, his largest of the day. A final move up to the Marine camp saw us yet again into copious amounts of even smaller checker bass but I did manage one slightly larger at 2lb 6oz I unusually enjoyed our confinement to the harbour. We were never going to win the comp but enjoyed a most pleasant and busy day

  13. We the committee are looking into trying something different next year that will alleviate these weather interruptions and move away from specific dates for some comps. Chris Witheford is looking into all the variants and possible issues this might create. Hopefully the membership will accept the proposals for a smooth transition to a more inclusive and least disrupted yearly account of best fish results.
