If it doesn't work forst time, remember that some (not all) led bulbs have to be wired the correct way around. So, just switch the + & - around. R3 points

Go 5kg Bruce and chain. Chain "length of boat" is a guide, but it need to weigh more than anchor, to help with Alderney ring lifting, so get 6kg of chain. Set it all up to trip, and you'll be golden. Perhaps we can pop out one evening and do Alderney practice? R2 points

My navlights and cabin lights were changed by just buying the led version of the lamps ( bulbs) Happy with those Hoi did the same formy deck lights. But they were not that bright so i changed the two units for very bright led ones. Mick. I would hope that it was an easy job for you. After all, your website name is sparky. Lol1 point -
Should be just a straight swap with the correct size lamp. Did my interior cabin lights with 12 volt led lamps from screwfix.1 point

I had a problem with a nav light damaged so changed to LED's. No problem installing them - bought them at Cobbs chandlers and wired in as straight replacements.1 point -

i tend to go after bass and other eating fish, i find the mackerel around the fal amazing. Have tried guilt head bream, but without success. never managed to locate them.1 point -

It is a good move to switch to LED, much brighter and less energy. I had mine done, new fittings and new connections because there is always a clean up needed on the old wiring. I don't think any other changes are needed.1 point -

Charlie - apparently it was just like years ago plenty of turbot to over 19lbs and plenty of big brill. My mate had 3 cod and several pollock on the way back too.1 point
