i am just about to move as many of you know and today we had a sort out at home and took some rubbish down to the tip. when i was throwing the junk off the back of the truck i noticed a little black handle in all the rubbish so i stopped and jumped off the back and investigated and found a fishing reel its in excellent condition . it's a shimano TLD5 and it works perfect i couldn't believe my luck, so i swiftly threw it in the truck before anyone else sore it i was going to take it back and complain it had no line on it only joking but what a nice find . mark b

hi sam, i have just spoke to my father in law regarding a boat for yourself! and he may have the boat for you. it was my first ever boat that i used in poole harbour, approx 5 years ago. its a open type boat with a small covered area at the front it has a 9.9 mariner engine that will probably need a service. the boat is approx 14 foot long . and its a very sturdy little boat basicly the boat needs a bit of t.l.c as he doesnt use it any more and its full of water its on a half decent trailer, and i used to be able to launch and recover it myself. but as i said its sat in a garden in staines full of water, and will need a little bit of work to get it up together. but not bad for

newboy it's 45/1hour drive from poole to weymouth and i think gordon / manic moore is looking for a boat to crew on. mark b

thanks again rich for crewing for me today shame the fishing was not much cop but when it blowing a force 5 to 6 and you are confind to portland harbour two pollock and two blenies which i had to t bar of because i thought they were weaver fish it was not bad but we tryed and it was nice to be out again 1st time for loyal royal this year so bring on the bream . mark b

yes mike i also got mine for alan at oceanique the problem with the throttle cables was the way they had rooted them though the boat but in the end they replaced them with platinium coated cables it made a big difference putting it in and out of gear (very smooth) we also have slept on board a couple of times me and paul j good size cabin yes we went to weymouth for a weekend fishing for bass so do you trailer your boat or moor it . mark b

hi fritchy i have a quicksilver 640 and this is my 3rd quicksilver i have owned in 3 years first a 500 then the 560 and now the 640 i am very pleased with her but i had some problems with the 640 like the sunroof leaked the throttle cables ceased the door catch broke and now the window wiper has stoped working but all in all a very nice looking boat so how are you getting on with yours. mark b

yes someone else has bought a quicksilver and they have joined the club at last goodman . mark b

how do you guys fill about the money you and the club made on the november open comp going towards this disaster and help theses people get back on there feet i know we all voted for it to go to the n.f.s.a. but i feel the money could be spent on getting some of thoses fishing communitys back on the water again it would great if we could help in any little way i know it will go to the floor for a vote but it's just a thought . mark b
