martin, note that ncp car parks are as advertised as open to the public, i assume they mean 24hrs a day,with little or no security, hence park at your own risk, not so at rockley surely?? i certainly would not leave a boat or equipment at a boat park so remote and poorly fenced as this one seems to be, without adequate security, for which i think you pay in the exorbitant charges. Sorry to hear this news lads, one point, Rockley will almost certainly have a duty of care consumate to accepting your considerable fee for storage, part of thiere care is the cctv and security patrols, (put in place by them) the latter seems to me to be wanting, the security of the perimiter fence sounds suspect especialy taking into account the total value of'' goods'' stored on the property which they own, small point lads your joint amount of legal insurance must be considerable!! have you considderd the viability of pooling it and hiring the best legal mind you can, cos it sounds to me that rockly may be found wanting and will wrigle!! wish you all well, Derek,

Chapter 2. On getting the boat ready to drop back into my garden I find that contrary to my thoughts the fuel was not the target, The hitch-lock had been removed so I think they where disturbed and he boat itself was the desired item, what saved it was, I think, the wheel clamp and lack of time, that is now going to be suplemented by removal of the remaining wheel, coupled with the forlorne hope that should they return I will be there cos at 76 consequencies for violent actions no longer worry me. but lesson to learn<<<<don't park your boat in your front garden. Watch out lads, petrol at a premium and the thieving is happening, My boat in my drive, siily me left my Tohatsu fuel tanks on board both full 25ltr's each, walked last night or this morning,nothing else touched or taken, nothing damaged , they undid the securing lines, disconected the fuel lines and off they went.
