  15. Hi Neil It will go against the specimen comp for the month as Jerry is looking to try and run the species comp again as a one day comp.
  16. Mal kindly offered himself to help me with three juniors on Sunday. We fish headed to Swanage bay and a few tries for some mackerel, nothing caught. Anchored for a ray hopefully, a LSD for Blake at 1lb 4ozs and a small smooth hound for Harvey at 1lb 12ozs. Tide backed off so we moved out for more tide, nothing really showing with only a few bites and an increasing wind so we moved to the patch to get interests up. Fish from the off which kept Mal and myself very busy, unhooking, cutting up bait, untangling etc and Mal with new rig making. The guys caught endless quantities of small bream, pout, LSD's and various species of wrasse. The very best going to Harvey with a cracking Cuckoo Wrasse of 1lb 2ozs. Early afternoon saw the wind increase so a slow return to base to fuel up and a boat clean up, well needed. Time just allowed a well deserved pint of Guinness for Mal and myself after a pretty exhausting day. (Our pasties are still on the engine warming) Blake was asleep by 6pm and didn't wake up until this morning. Cheers Mal, great effort very much appreciated. πŸ‘ Note to self, one novice junior per one adult if you a breather throughout the day, we didn't stop.
  17. Juniors out tomorrow on Kingfisher fishing Specimen Comp, Blake W, Harvey Mason, Charlie Aldous. We will see how many species they catch too. πŸ˜‚ Sorry added to adult comp by mistake.
  18. That’s a shame Jerry after all the work you’ve put in, thanks for the early update but with the lack of numbers fully understand the decision.
  19. Belated wishes Lofty, looks like all is going well. πŸ‘πŸŽ‚
  20. Juniors out tomorrow on Kingfisher fishing Specimen Comp, Blake W, Harvey Mason, Charlie Aldous. We will see how many species they catch too. πŸ˜‚
  21. Who’s who Terry? πŸ˜‚
  22. List updated, only one change on the leader boards, third place for Bass. πŸ‘ Junior Comp details updated in the first report. Please keep the reports coming in and add to the "Report A Catch" everything else is covered automatically. Tight Lines.
  23. Great idea Charlie, give the juniors a chance to get out. Comp weather gods playing up as always. 😀
  24. Useful having the life raft still on the roof while you’re sinking with that many on board. Result another boat in the area to help recovery, hopefully rewarded with a good days fishing. πŸ‘πŸ€ž
