I was very tempted with Alderney Charlie, but I have one of my ankles being fused early June and the issue would have been the hill into town! 😳 If there was a bit of rough weather I would really struggle at the moment, so thought better of it. May take the boat out of the water as recovery can be a long process, thus the dry few months to lose some timber while on crutches. 🤞🤞

A great day out Mal, thanks for arranging the bait and nibbles. A good few species to kick start the season between us. Mal with an 11lb 3oz undulate after a 4ld thorn back. Blake caught a 4ld bass and another soon after slightly smaller. Showing you don’t need an anchor as a hook for a decent fish, Blake still had a bream hook on. A mature blonde and 13lb 1oz blonde ray. IMG_0410.MOV A flyby just because it was the first trip out in ages!! Blake and Cooper having a kip on the engine hatch. All finished off with a cool Guinness in the clubhouse, perfect. 👍 IMG_0410.MOV
