  1. There will be plenty of Forms at registration but it would make things go quicker if you could print them off the site and prefill the entry form. Any donations for the Raffle will be most welcome Thanks PJ
  2. Hopefully we will see you both at the Mariner in the evening? PJ
  3. you will have to call them and dont be suprised if they are not all clued up, L&J are much better informed than a certain other dealer i know. there is also a recall to change the fuel filter on engines below a certain serial number. They have to order in the kits so it's worth checking it in advance. PJ

Mikey, I believe the 50hz is used mainly for deeper water and has a wider cone for covering more area, the 200hz gives you better definition but covers a smaller area. Most people just use the 200hz setting PJ
  15. Andy, You can't register until 7:30am Fishing starts at 8:30am as not all boat will be leaving from Baiter. PJ
  16. Duncan, We had a plotter and were fine, the boats that turned back obviously didn't or hadn't saved their tracks. I still don't trust them completley going through the run unless it was recently updated as the sands shift from one season to the next. PJ
  17. I will let PD do the fish report as he was skipper. It was quite a challenge getting out of Christchurch Harbour at 7am due to the heavy fog which meant you could not see where the next channel marker was until you were right on top of them. Saw many other boats abandoning their missions or anchoring up and waiting for the fog to lift. A glorious day to be at the IOW- sunshine and flat seas meant we were even able to break out the new cooker. PD must make the best sausage baps in the entire fleet- and i've tried a few. I can't help thinking that if i'd put one of those sausages on the hook i may have even managed a Cod- alas it wasn't to be but had a good time trying Great day out cheers PD PJ
  18. All the buoys were there in the morning and we needed them in the mist!. Gone by the time we got in. most confusing. Like Alun said only two yellows and a red left PJ
  19. Thank You Wessex Angling for your support
  20. Thank You Alec for you support
  21. Trev, is spot on if in dought let someone else go first! An auxilarily engine and a pair of waders are useful if your going to risk it ouside of those time frames. Prop reveloutions will only be too pleased if you don't follow these guidelines PJ
  22. Hi Guys, Dont Forget your digital Camera's You'll need them for the Catch and Release part of the comp, and we would appreciate as many other photo's of the day as possible (not just fish shots). You just might see yourself in our planned BFm article Cheers Paul
