Steve, let us know how it works out as im considering doing the same. Im running an etec 60 pushing a 17ft boston whaler ( approx 1500lbs loaded) and achieving 29knts@ 5000. I'd like to get to 5500 and may well go down from 17" to 15" prop Thanks Paul

Dave, Many thanks for an enjoyable day. Towing Sammy in the fog was a bit nerve racking but the weatherr turned out nice. Great to see so many members out. I was expecting to see more Tope= what has happened to them this year? PJ

Slow day for us on Sammy, i managed a undulate of 7 1/2 and a bass of 5lb A few bream thrown in made it an enjoyable day PJ

Alun, I would love to join you on Gastronaught soon i've just been down to South Coast marine for an estimate and had a good chat with Paul the engineer. Apparently my incident is just the tip off the iceburg and there has been a lot of activity in and around my Mooring. there have been two other boats stolen in the past week including the Orkney that is usually moored next the waterloo bridge- just up steam from me. Rich, I dont have any grievance against the police, i'd rather just get it fixed and move I just hope the b...stds are reading this so they can see that everyones aware of what they are up to. perhaps they will stay away from Boats flying our pennants if they know they will get exposed on this site ( dought it but who knows) Thanks for your advice though PJ

Ironically the guy at Bmth and west hants water ( owners of the yard) is the same person who i had a run in with over repairing the wick slip. Thankfully were on much better terms these days PJ

yes, it could have been worse, i actually went out the night before. Im out with Coddy on Sunday, so at least i still get to fish PJ
