Went out to a small wreck on Dolphin Sands were i met Mark b and Gordon on Enticer. A fairly quiet day overall but i did manage 5 congers, best about 25lb 6 whiting, biggest about 2.5lb Lovely conditions and nice to be out. Charlie joined me just as i left, How did you get on Charlie? Paul J

Alun, We didn't have a whiting all day and only a few doggies and pout, The most frequent bites were from conger. i think we had 5 or so in the end. Incidently, my Cod had absolutley nothing in it's stomach which suprised me, not even a squid, small crab, nothing, Usually they are stuffed with crab, squid or pout. Paul J

no just big baits, eg: 6-8 squid on an 8/0 pennell

Tom this was at the back of the IOW The fish was caught at 1:30pm and was the only Cod Bite We got about 5 small congers up to 20lb but that was about it. This whole week has been pants fishing for me so im still in shock that i've actually won something Paul J

Went out today 8am-2.30pm Started on the Dolphin Bank with only doggies and Pout.It got a bit lumpy so went back to the ledge and got nought. Fishing was pants! Dan was heading out to the bank so hopefully he had better luck Nice to be out though Paul J

Looking forward to it, the way this usually works is i put down the big Cod baits and Duncan ends up catching all the fish on single Squid baits Paul J
