  8. Try using a clear bubble float that you fill up with Water. Rig it as a slider with a stop knot, this way you can cast some distance against the wind. You cant see it so keep your finger on the line Paul J
  9. Nice one guys, those smaller Bass do hit above their weight, I had a 2/12 lber take my rod overboard recently, luckily i retrieved rod and fish but it was close! Paul J

Adam i'd be up for it i did hear of some real problems when the wind was in a certain direction, hopefully they have sorted it. It may be the same problem you described as a whirlpool Paul J
  11. My Trailer is nose heavy mostly because it's too big for the boat and i had to move the Winch post back so the back of the boat overt hangs slightly. It is still not heavy enough at the back so im thinking of moving the axle forward as it's adjustable. Any advise on this? Paul J

  13. Adam, I agree with you on the Flourocarbon especially if it''s hard going with shy bites. What test were you using? You do seem to have the touch with the Bass recently, i don't think it's all down to the line your recent catches must have got you tuned in. Paul J
  14. I Saw those guys fishing the bridge like that, i think it's to do with some many anglers drifting really snagging ground that would normally be a nightmare on a charter boat Paul J
  15. Had a great day out on QT with Peter, just the two of us on that big boat was pure luxury. Went west and stopped just east of St Albans, things were very quiet. Next stop was a deep hole just west of St Albans, where we found some Tope in Slack water. Peter was first in with a fish about 15lbs and then i got my first decent one which went 31lb- doubled my PB, i was chuffed I got two more smaller fish on the trot and Peter got another before we headed off. Went hunting round a couple of other spots on the way home but nothing doing but doggies. Brilliant day out in the sun, great boat, great company and a few fish who could ask for more- thanks Peter Species wise only dogs, Tope and Mackerel Paul J
