  9. Jack, It is a bit of a pig, if you cant get the rubber tube over the braid dont worry too much it will hold without it and with out super glue for that matter. Do use glue for insurance Push the braid back on it self to open up the opening, push fly line up all the way to the loop, Super glue the end and trim loose ends. Paul J

    Flipping Boat

Well i never made the maiden Voyage but as of 7pm i'm finished and ready to go. The boat is now sitting on it's dry mooring in Christchurch just waiting to get wet. I knew the weathrr would turn once i completed the Job. There's still a few thinngs to do to get her fishable but she's functional and will get wet next weekend. Fixed all the electrics, dual battery switch, vhf, Gps,fishfinder, swith panel, extended the battery cables and moved the batteries up under the console. I was delighted when my motor fired up first time after sitting on it's side for 6 weeks! All i really have to do now is install a bowroller and im off to find some fish. It's been a hard slog and i can't wait to get the first fish aboard Paul J - Marineboy

    Fly Fishing

One other saftey point If your right handed you want to cast with the wind over your left shoulder. This sends the line and hook away from you rather than coming towards your face on the back stroke. Very important when its windy which is most of the time when in the Saltwater Paul J

    Fly Fishing

Don't use a good line on grass or you will damage it, ok if your using a cheap line which i can give you. It's actually more difficult than fishing in water cause theres no drag to load the rod. Get your waders on a go out at baiter or evening hill that way you don't have to worry about hitting people with your back cast. Hat and glasses are a must! Bob, if you want to schedule it in i'll do a quick demo at one of the meetings. Paul J
