Hi Mick Had a check in the compressor on the van and that was unusual for me l actually put it in a safe place where l could find it if required again. I knew l had one somewhere as my fenders came flat when l brought them. Give a shout if you still need the adaptor

Thanks for the birthday greetings. The day didn't go to plan as l got a call out to Swindon fire station but love the new job and only to glad to get away from installs all the time and being a reactive engineer again having to use my brain again to fault find issues.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. Just chilled yesterday as l had to many 4.00am starts working in Central London last week. Boat was supposed to come off the mooring yesterday but still to windy today so like the rest of you it will have to wait until Wednesday.

I have been using this stuff for the last 3 years as recommended by the previous boat owner. I have used 9 mouth old petrol with no problems on the boat that I now use it in the fuel for the lawn mower and strimmer with no starting issues after being in the shed all winter. Thanks everyone. Bit of a mad day working in London yesterday and then running a exam for local radio club. I will celebrating on Sunday with family and friends.

Southampton Boat Show. Years ago they used to run a park and ride system for the show do they still do this or is there a coach from Bournemouth as my old 4x4 + beacons on the roof is to high for most multi storey car parks. I would like to attend this year as I haven't been to the show for years. What do you suggest. I've booked a days holiday to attend on the Monday

Caravan club for me been with them for years and no problems when a stone cracked the front window. Known now as the caravan and motorhome club but you do need to become a member.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I managed 3 trips on my new boat and 5 fish on the species list but ending up buying 2 x 12/20 class ugly sticks from Andy in Poole. So the uptiders will have to wait as I need some decent chest waders for launching now.

I've been looking for a couple of uptide rods for my small boat which would be used for inshore fishing but there are 2 options 4-7 oz or 6-10 oz. what would people recommend for in Poole bay. Thanks in advance.

lm not sure what sort of length required. So all you small dinghy anglers how much do you carry. l only plan to stay inshore say patch, ray mark etc. As l have been reading we should have 7 x depth so looking at the rought area of the ray mark l would 70m of rope which would be over 200 foot which sounds a bit excessive for 14 foot boat which l would only be out there on nice days anyway.

Thank Jim. I still like to keep up with whats going on on and read the catch reports here but seem to be busier than ever with different events over the summer and this is the first weekend I have had off for mouths so will be spending some time with my girls. I have just changed jobs and hoping to be in the Bournemouth area a lot more so hopefully will have more time to start fishing again and attend club nights. Hope to you all again soon. Steve
