With rod rings getting smaller the knot size between braid and mono seems to be getting a problem so i purchased some tapered leaders they go from 16lb to 60lb i then cut off about 4 feet of the 16lb end and tied them together and this seems to have worked a much smaller knot and less problem reeling in has any one had a go with this for there boat setups Cheers graham

Give myself a treat last weekend and got some new rods 2 Penn TRQ 20lb boat rods and a Diawa Saltist braid special 12-20 lb rod boat look good but has anyone had any experience of these rods please don't tell me i have got this wrong cheers graham

Hi The thing about cold smoking is you need to cure the fish longer before smoking some use salt and cane sugar mixed and rubbed in for 24 hrs then washed and dried before smoking for up to 8 hrs + graham

For what it's worth my view there was no thought to may be lost jobs in the holes bay boat parks and others who get there work as part of this boating trade yes something was needed but at what cost but you pay your tax and they do what they want
