In the end yes, never made the sea trial though as ran out of time and had to take Leo to footie. Took 4 attempts to get alignment 100% as small puffs of smoke were evident. Forth attempt saw the utilisation of a bit of temp gum to help seal the fitting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So a quick update on this. I collected my refurbished turbo this morning... At a cost of £680+ vat, it’s not a bad job I reckon.. Four hours later and I’m at the point where all the mechanical bits are connected in what I hope are all the right places. Dear PBSBAC members . Some of you may remember the good old days of WSF ? And especially the boat ownership and maintenance forum. It was a real fun place to hang out, share in banter and boat ownership tips and hints. Unfortunately due to some over zealous moderation and dictatorship ruling all the fun was taken out of the site. And now members are leaving in their droves. Our turbocharger quality higher than original turbocharger.
