  1. Maiden voyage to day, had to run the engine for an hour no more than 2000 rpm. Next time out I've got to get her on the plane, throttle back so its on the minimum revs but still planning for another hour. Then I can go for a blast.
  2. Well it came today, took me best part of an hour to get her on the mooring. The wind was horrendous and coming from all directions. Got to do a bit of reading now, running in schedule and find out how everything works. Really impressed with the finish of the boat, warrior obviously keep an eye of how owners modify their boats as mine came with a some handy storage in the cuddy just like Brian and a few others have fitted. I'll post some pics soon.
  3. Well, I know what she looks like! The delay now is the delivery drivers on holiday so my boats stuck in Lancashire. Got a mooring, MMSI , fenders, lines, etc. etc.......
  4. I had a go at underwater photography when I use to scuba dive. My results where similar, apart from being cloudy out of focus and you couldn't quite tell what the subject was. Any one need some tips, I'm your man......
  5. SOLD .....................
  6. 12 foot open boat for sale. Honda 5 hp 4 stroke, road trailer. All ready to go £1100
  7. Good for him
  8. That bloke a midget and he's got long arms!
  9. Just had a call from Warrior, boat should be here in a couple of weeks. The favourite boat name so far is GROCKLE on the account I'm from the midlands originally. Only been down south for 28 years so ,still a newcomer!
  10. End of Feb for delivery. They had already started to make a grey one for the showroom, so I'm having that one.
  11. Well I've done it! Warrior Pro Angler deposit paid...... Thanks for all the advise lads.
  12. Warrior put me in contact with a chap on the Isle of Wight who has just taken delivery of a Pro angler. So I went abroad to have a look at it. Had a good look round it and discussed options ect. Just waiting for a price from Warrior now.
  13. Thanks for the welcome lads, When I brought my Orkney a few years ago. I was disappointed that the plotter, fish-finder and radio seemed to have been fitted in the most convenient way for them to fit it rather than making the helm tidy and easy to use. I'm determined to get it right this time! I'm going for a Raymarine Dragonfly 7 Pro and a Ray 52 VHF (with built in GPS) because last time getting three different makes to talk to each other was a nightmare. I've chosen my engine a Yamaha 70 with hydraulic steering and a SS prop. I plan on Lenco trim tabs with a Mente Marine auto-controller, as I had Mente Marine on "Minston" my Orkney. Trying to sort out who to get to do the fitting now, I'm looking for all Yam steering and controls so it'll all work together. I'll keep you posted, any advise or contacts would be great. Sean
  14. Anyone got a Pro Angler? I'm looking at getting one in the spring and any advise or even the chance to have a look at one would be great.
  15. I has an OPH 20 with trim tabs the boat was very sensitive to adjust, I think the tasb were too bit. I fitted a Mente Marine auto-leveler it was magic just plug and play. I even controlled the stern-drive trim, though I don't think the latest ones have that facility.
