Rag .......... are you fishing for wrasse??.... they like ragworm!! Terry..........not sure!!....Just think bass are nore choosy when there's plenty of food about! We got 5 bass yesterday [ nothing 'big'].......all when tide was slacker. 1 on feathers!, 2 on LW slack, 2 on HW slack ............BUT........ my crew lost a 'biggie' in the main flood. Plenty of mackerel around ........everywhere! Alun.

.........or having to have it repaired!! I'll be interested to see reports when these E-tecs are 5 - 10 years old. I dipped into the forum and saw that E-tecs say 3 year service....if used in fresh water .......but annual if used in the sea. I caught one of those cuckoo wrasse out on the Rips sunday; didn't think to weigh it as it was only about a pound !! I didn't realise specimen weight was so low !! DOH! ........ it would have beaten my 10 - 12 pollack ! Lesson learnt! Alun.

Gastronaught will be out......from about 7.30..... with two novice guests\family. It could be a proper spikey session......... or a 30 min macky trip before breakfast reappears!! ...........no idea ...... but will have Ch. 6 open. Good luck to you, Alun.

We all had a few cod on the former [ too small to count in a specimen comp! ... and plenty that went back] .... and a pollack each on the latter......... best went 10 lbs. 12 oz. to me .... but that won't win any prize! Craig, If you want to go all the way over there........M27 to Portsmouth and use the town slip. A group of us trailed over there a year ago and found the slip a good one to launch and retrieve from. Personally I think we've got better bass fishing on our side Have a good trip, Alun.
