I have one too (ragdoll)cobbs quay f pontoon

Hi terry i woukd be interested in coming with my cousin who always comes out with me on my boat from cobbs is this allowed or do they have to be a club member ? Also this is some thing we would love to do but we dont know if there is much room going on the boats still ? If some one can let me know if we could get on one of their boats we can work out the rest . Cheers

Even though I've only met a couple of guys in passing along f pontoon I'd absolutely love to be involved in going to alderney if any one ever sorts a trip out there! I can chip in with the fuel costs I'm not worried about making tea and I'm hardly ever sea sick unless it's proper rough swell above 2 inches or so 🤣 no only joking ... if there's ever a chance to come out on some ones boat I'd jump at the chance and be part of the crew if needs be . I got a mca boat masters license if that's any help too lol

Just got a job booked in for Tuesday so that puts an end to my dreams Tuesday lol thanks gor the info guys and if Hooky is taking 100 ltrs I recon id be pretty safe with 170total fuel plus another 20 as emergency back up so next time you guys go there I'll have to book the day off work and then I'll definitely come 😀really looking forward to seeing some pics !! Turbot is numner 1 on my fish wish list and one of the main reasons I bought a boat so ill hope there's another outing soon guys 👦 cheers

Did you go with just the 120lyrs or did you take extra just in case

I can take extra fuel and lighten my boat up I could take the spare outboard off then I'd have another 20 ltrs of fuel plus the extra 70 I'll take any way so I'll have about 200 ltrs in total plus a lighter boat

Has any one done this before from poole harbour to shambles for the day using a similar setup to what I'm using ? Just wondered what sort of fuel u used and how much spare fuel you took id really love to go but I'm a bit worried incase I run out of juice half way lol 😆

Hi ive got a quick silver 640 with a 90 mariner it's holds approx 100 litres and I could bring 2 extra drums that hold a total of 70 lrtrs do you think I'd make it there and back lol ive not been any where that's as far as that yet and I'm not sure what sort of mpg my boats doing lol

My girls 1st ever fishing trip ( shame we blanked ) but i stayed in the harbour where it was safe there was a lot of boats zooming about making quite a bit of wash but they still enjoyed it ...even got the old flag out 🥰

That's handy to know I always thought it some kind of seaweed lol
