dave007
Hi all I have been given an Aqua-Marine 5600 radio, I have checked it works and can send and recieve - checking against my portable, but would like to understand the other functions. I know it is an older radio but wondered if any one an help with a user manual. This Radio comes with differant names, and from what I have found on the internet is that as long as the 5600 appears somewhere, the manual should be the same. If anyone can help would really be grateful. Thanks for reading Dave Edited July 22, 2010 by dave007
Rob
Have a search on the forum - there have been a few posts (ages ago) referenceing sites that host various manuals. hth Rob
Brian
Dave I don't have a manual but I do have a circuit diagram. By memory the manual for the Midland/Searanger/Aquamarine/etc 5600 was only about 4 pages.

Coddy
Hi Dave Have look at my website, link at the bottom of this message and look at the VHF radio menu. If it looks like the NASA Singray 5600 then that is the same as mine. Ask away any questions and I will try to answer them. Dave

Brian
You probably don't need a manual for the 5600, it's such a basic set. Rotary controls for On/Volume; Squelch; Channel. Push buttons for 25W/5W; Channel 16; Dual watch; Channel M. and I believe you dim the display by pulling the Squelch knob. Cancel Dual Watch to Transmit. great white
Marina Channel M is usually 37a I think that you may struggle to get 80 on that set I used to have one on my dory, but had no need for Marina's in that boat, so I can not remember if I had 80 Charlie
