Dan, don't believe Metcheck.....for forecasts over water !! The one I'm looking at all give much stronger wind..... but yes, from the balmy South !!

 

Looks like it'll be too bumpy for me !

though i copied from metcheck there, when actually going out, i use windguru for wind normally, metcheck for temperatures, as well as met office radar for rainfall and the inshore forecast...... then try and blend it all together...

I use Windguru but as I live within a few hundred yards of the water, ultimately the state of that water helps with my final decision.

I have a friend with a boat at Cobbs who wants to fish the Cod Comp - but his regular crew can't make it. So if someone needs a place I can arrange it.

Assuming the weather is OK of course as not sure I can be bothered to do another day like we did on Shogun

 

I suspect it will be cancelled if the weather is unsuitable for small boats.
