niggle
Same with all marinas there is the open sea!
Maverick Martin
Hi Stephen and welcome to our clubs forum Regarding Cobbs Quay I would say its as secure as any others in Poole. All marinas attract thieving gits on occasions but MDL (owners of Cobbs) are a pretty responsible company and at least try to look after their punters goods. boyscott
Thinking of taking a mooring in Cobbs Quay is this a secure marina? That's a question you should put to the Marina owner - ask for their stats on thefts. I suspect its not vastly different to others but I recently had my auxiliary lifted off the back of the boat from F pontoon. The pontoons are secured via access codes but anyone in a dinghy can paddle up the harbour and help themselves. I also think that the further from shore your berth - the more susceptible it is to light fingered types. If you do come to Cobbs I look forward to seeing you there perhaps. Was it covered by Cobbs insurance, or yours?
