niggle
Anyone else out? Mike(mustgetsomewhitingasmyfamilyloveit)and me will give it a go,not expecting much action as drop in water temperature seems to have put a dampener on the action.Probably tuck into freshwater and shelter from the wind

niggle
As expected sloooooow but a lovely day, dogs and pout on first mark whiting on second which are good fun.Didn't get a nod or a dropped spotty at all at least Mike had his whiting for the table.Unless things change Poole cod comp will be interesting Well done Alun on the cod yesterday
Paul D
Was very slow but had only the one bite initially which bent the rod and put up a great fight... 15lb of prime winter cod Then that was virtually it apart from a solitary whiting. niggle
Well done Paul ,well done Mick on the Ray ,I still haven't seen or caught a spotty......ever Paul I've run out of the small unwashed so was using ilex and washed.......since I've run out of the small un washed. I've struggled...........coincidence ? Crickey just realized I've used almost 40kgs of squid in 6 odd weeks.....I'm putting in to the fisheries for a feeding grant
Paul D
I need to order some more squid as well. Freezer is now empty apart from 1/2 box Ilex and a box of loligo. Think an order for some more is needed. We were fishing Ilex "tipped" with loligo but I literally had just the one bite for first 3 hours.
