Maverick Martin
OK I am getting serious cabin fever now and I have run out of pills, god that stuff tastes so good The (my) boat will be all sorted over the next couple of weeks then I have to decide when and where to fish. I am thinking of having a shake down trip up to the shambles for an early plaice. When would be the earliest you would make the effort and spend the diesel on a shambles trip? anyone? Oii and Jim no comment on all my trips being a shambles Martin
Adam F
I'm planning a run down to the Shambles as a shake-down for Alderney. When? I'll keep an eye on Deepsea before I make a call - but I suspect early / mid April. March? If a period of high pressure co-incides with a small tide - I'll go wrecking for Conger. TomBettle
Late March will see one or two very skinny (see through) Plaice caught with them fattening up over the next two weeks and expect Easter Weekend to turn the Shambles into a scene akin to a giant fairground bumpercar ride with boats zooming in all directions. niggle
Martin,Still believe the wrecks will be worth a bash if all the various elements are right on the day. Might be me wishful thinking but I just love the way those pollack dive
