great white
anyone else thinking of getting away from the TV on Friday? I would rather be fishing and can join someone as crew, or take at least two possibly three with me. I think the weather may limit the choice of venue, but trying for a few bream to the west then anchoring bank or wreck over slack sounds good to me. if you fancy it get in touch Charlie Charlie
Adam F
I'll be out on JV mate - same plan as you, nice quiet roads then peace and quiet at sea. Heading west too, but may avoid the wreck you have in mind and stick to the bream.
great white
Are you crewed up Adam? as so far its just me and I have no problem not doing the wrecking Charlie

ChrisE
Oh alright then, seeings as you insist.. We're heading out at 9, have a little dabble off The Shingles whilst wind and tide are together then perhaps offsky up The Solent to see if the hounds have arrived. On day of the Charles and Di wedding I managed a 10lb trout....
Mike Fox
Frisky is hoping for a local(ish) trip tomorrow...will keep Ch 6 on. Chris - the hounds have arrived up the Solent, but they weren't very numerous or voracious. We took two to about 4lb last week. Mike
ChrisE
Mike, thx, you've confirmed what I'd heard. Might waste some time looking for an early bass on lures instead, p'raps. Chris
Stuie
Planning to miss the wedding too. We will be setting out from Cobbs around 8am and monitoring Ch 6. It may well be a bit loppy outside the harbour but we shall see. Keeping our options open.

Leicester Fisheagle
Had planned to have a full day out, but short of crew. So, a late start around lunch time from Cobbs will be the order of the day with my brother in law coming out when he finishes work. Will decide where we are going when we see what its like outside the Harbour. If its not too bad we aim to return between 5 and 7pm. Have space for one more if anyone interested. Tel 07758356474 Allan.
