Member Removed
Hi, Any areas in the harbour when fishing is restricted? Anybody know of good location for flounders as they've always managed to keep a low profile.... Regards, Grant
Adam F
Float fishing by the post on the entrance to Wareham channel...a little inside knowldege from the last few days. Set your float a little over depth, ragworm for bait and let the flatties roll on in!

Member Removed
Thanks - I'll give it a crack... I got the impression from the Tackle shop in Poole that bass fishing was restricted in the harbour but I'm not exactly sure where the boundaries lie - any thoughts? Guest Guest
Bass fishing from boats is banned from 1st May to 31st Oct, west of a line drawn from Salterns Marina to Brownsea Castle to Jerry's Point.

Brian
For flounders, Generally fish well up the harbour in October, working towards the entrance by the end of Feb early March. (That sounds like a very slow drift, but you know what I mean).
