Stuie
Planning a few hours out in the middle of the day, bearing in mind the weather reports. Leaving Cobbs around 10am - anyone else venturing out?
Brian
Hi Stuie Did you get out today? I saw loads of nice fish, unfortunately it was in Bournemouth Oceanarium as I was looking after my granddaughter
Stuie
Yes Brian, went out at 1030 with my eldest son Glen - first time outside the harbour for him. Anchored near Ballard to try for rays but there wasn't enough tide so went out to whitehouse but anchor tripped in the strong tide and it was a little uncomfortable too. Third choice was Poole Bay drifting south of the yellow buoy. Better there, gurnards, mackerel, dogs and bream came aboard. Final move when the wind got up around 3pm to the faithful swash where several plaice and gurnards again responded. Another great day afloat, fresh fish for the table and a happy son too.
