Problem is that all this will be in the sea a lot quicker than it used to be because the EA and pressure groups like NE etc have lowered all the weirs and structures that used to hold water in the rivers plains ... it is the aquifers that need "re-charging" and without the water stored on the land it all just flows to the sea..

 

We are so lucky in our area.... but how long will it last ???

My river is STILL on running at 33% of normal for this time of year dry.gif

 

10 miles away they have flood warnings for the next 48 hrs.
