shytalk
just to quash the accusations i dont fish anymore !!!! ive just returned from a few days fishing from unst . amazing does not come close to describing the fishing up there . our tally included ling to 40LB , cod to 27LB, pollack to 15LB, coalfish to 18LB along with torsk haddock and whiting , we tried for turbot but conditions were unfavourable besides we were plagued with double figure cod pinching the baits . i have never seen anything like it 8 to 10LB coalfish being attacked by ling on the way up !and in two full days fishing in 300+ft of water i lost no tackle only having to change lures due to fish damage !!!! plaicemat
Sounds great! Can you let me have details as we are possibly going up there shortly as I'm banned from long distance flying at present. I knew there would be something worthwhile. Terry. Newboy
When did you go? I was there on the 9th-12th. The weather was bad, wind was f5-f7 while we were there, so only managed to fish the bit just inside the sound, we could just see Muckle Flugga in the distance but couldn't get anywhere near it. Will do a proper report when I catch up with the paper work.
great white
Sounds great Pete It must have been good to get you writing a report, 10lb baits Perhaps we should think of that instead of Alderney for 2013, sounds well worth the journey Charlie

plaicemat
Thanks for the details, Pete, I will add that to my data base. Sounds more Nordic fishing than UK. Terry.
adminpbsbac
Was wondering why we were getting hits from muckle flugga fishing searches and there was a record ling caught here the other week. Sort of proves Peter's point.
