Has anyone researched these things ?

Propeller Guard

 

I'm interested in the safety aspect as well as the possibilities of lifting the back end without trim tabs.

If there's gonna be a performance drop then I'm not interested.

So - - - - -over to you lot.

What are your thoughts ? ? ?

Jim - are you saying Tiddler isn't perfect? ohmy.gif

 

I had those dole fins on mine when i bought it and switched for smart tabs (the SX black plastic ones).

 

You can try em (but need to drill holes in the anti-ventilation plate). There are holes in mine from where they were fitted - no problems from this.

 

I am sure the big engine manufacturers spend 1000's of

I saw the advert and wondered ? ?

 

Charlie, you confirmed what I thought.

Rob, I fitted a whale tail to Small Fry, but but wasn't happy with it.

 

I was told that Adam ( Bass Man ) had fitted trim tabs to lift the back end at a lower speed.

 

And of course Tiddler is not perfect ( everythings a compromise with boats )

 

She's bloody lovely though ! wink.gif
