Jim
Has anyone researched these things ? http://www.propguardmarine.com/test.html Propeller Guard I'm interested in the safety aspect as well as the possibilities of lifting the back end without trim tabs. If there's gonna be a performance drop then I'm not interested. So - - - - -over to you lot. What are your thoughts ? ? ? Rob
Jim - are you saying Tiddler isn't perfect? I had those dole fins on mine when i bought it and switched for smart tabs (the SX black plastic ones). You can try em (but need to drill holes in the anti-ventilation plate). There are holes in mine from where they were fitted - no problems from this. I am sure the big engine manufacturers spend 1000's of
Jim
Thanks Charlie and Rob. I saw the advert and wondered ? ? Charlie, you confirmed what I thought. Rob, I fitted a whale tail to Small Fry, but but wasn't happy with it. I was told that Adam ( Bass Man ) had fitted trim tabs to lift the back end at a lower speed. And of course Tiddler is not perfect ( everythings a compromise with boats ) She's bloody lovely though ! Jim
