The topsides look very similar to this,

A Sportsman 17 produced by Poole Power Boats (now Sunseekers). They were produced with inboard engines, but they produced a special for us as we could get an outboard engine from Naval Stores and keep the price down, therefore we could buy on local purchase.

Photos 2 and 3 were taken during our lunch break, whilst waiting for the next target.

Our trials boat wasn't simulater clinker.

I seam to remember that Poole Power Boats started at Southbourne, under a different name and originally imported boats from Scandinavia. I've a feeling your boat could be one of those, before they started producing their own.

The slight deviation of the straight lines of side screen to top of superstructure & with the shape of the side windows / port holes suggests to me it is the same as Brian's pics.

Just because sunseeker say no isn't gospel! Crickey, did they really look in to your request - doubt it. Probably palmed you off as the have no idea / not interested! Does it matter? Or are you hoping they stock some spares??

I'd suggest it's one of boats Poole Power Boats imported which they then based their first in house produced boats on.

Problem is I doubt there's anyone left at Sunseekers from those days, or they don't want to be associated with anything so small.

I thought I would need to know the maker to get it insured. I mean would I not need to get a valuation on it?

If it was old for new I would wont it to a Sunseeker lol. I cannot go on what I paid for her.as I got her for silly money, just in the right place at the right time.Who is the best insurance to go with?

I would agree with Brian except there is someone still there who was originally there namely Robert Braithwaite Sent from my Samsung S2

I thought Robert joined his dad after they moved to Poole and became Sunseeker.

I doubt very much the Robert looked at the photo and supplied the answer, most likely some girl in the office who's only ever seen the Gin Palaces they produce.
