Any Welders? Need a small weld on a coolant tank.

Hi Everyone..

 

The long saga continues. Ive managed to rescue the coolant tank/bowman.

 

Had it welded, But unfortunatly on pressure testing , a small jet of water came out from the weld inside the exhaust. (Red arrow)

 

Is there anyone with a small enough welding torch who (For money) would have a go at sorting this for me.

Hi if you cant get it welded try plastic metal in a tube I had a problem with boilers  heat exchanger halstead wanted 360 pound and the old lady had no money so i cleaned it up put on the plastic metal let it dry went at the end of the day pressured the system and it still working three year on

On a boiler worse case = no hot water/heating.

 

Engine cooling system = warped head, cracked cylinder etc etc.

 

I know what I would do!!!

Maybe PM Coddy - one of his sons is a marine welder I think, or maybe one's a marine and the other elder!

If you can drop off this part to my home my son said he can fix this for you.

 

Unfortunatly he can't do it on the boat as he doesn't have a portable welder.
