Steve S
Thanks for posting. Well that is a new one to me. Looks strong if the mono does not slip out. I will give it a try at home first.
iansimpson63
I use the Albright knot but this looks to be worth a go and appears to do away Ruth the need to leave a short tag end.
Stuie
I'll be giving this one a try too - thanks Trev I wonder about a tiny drop of superglue on the last half hitch...... Mal Thomas
Steve S
I think applying superglue could be counter productive. The principle seems to be that the braid tightens round the mono as the line pressure is increased stopping it slipping out superglue round the braid knot would stop that. Will need to try. Jim
I have to keep youtube videos on my phone. With a combination of old age and not getting out much, I can never remember how to tie them. So I have to watch some instructions before giving them a go ! The wonders of modern technology ! ! Jim
niggle
Who checked out the "girls gone fishing" at the bottom of the page? I did before the knot, wouldn't want to try that while wrecking ......the knot I mean Bramble banker
Bramble banker
I've used this knot before but tied differently, a good knot but a bit of a faff when your out wrecking and continually changing gear. Albright wins for me. G Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
