Gnasher
Took the missus away for a long weekend in weymouth, the harbour is spectacular. Anyway we also went into West Bay at Bridport then off to Lyme Regis. I couldnt beleave my eyes when walking along the sandy bay there must of been 200 washed up dogfish about 50 Bullhuss, many over 10lbs and plents of Ray, still with the wings. I simply cant beleave netting boats dump this amount of unwanted fish. Is this normal practise for these boats to do this? Some of the Ray had been de-winged but there was still fish scattered everywhere with the gulls going mad over them.

jack
I can believe it,I take the Grandkids to West Bay every August for a week, and there are always dumped Doggies; Huss and Pout in the Harbour. As the commercial chaps invariably pass thier discards on, to the Pot men, I always assume that its the Fishing Charter customers dumping them, perhaps after showing the Wife and Kids
