Good luck Brian, took Kingfisher out today for a run and some worm drowning with Nigel.

 

Bitterly cold and only small whiting and lsd out a few miles at anchor, then drifted along the Chines trying to avoid miles of nets nothing then a few drifts in the harbour for a couple more whiting.

 

Good to get a trip out but as always this time of year hard work.

 

Got to be out to see what's about!!

....and those nets continue all the way along to Southbourne.  It's hard to find a reasonable drift line if there's any breeze off parallel to the shore.

With all the sand in the water etc. along the front I would head Westward

I had a look from west overcliff yesterday morning. There were amazing "plumes" of sand in some area of the water west of Bmth pier. Which was strange as the dredger was on the eastern side.

 

There were plenty of nets along the beach, grrrrr!

I see Lofty had some plaice.

Looks like I'll be going Wednesday.

Tomorrow is looking too good to miss, oh dear this is going to be a short working week!!!

Fisheagle will be heading out on the 7.30 bridge and heading west. On Ch. 6.

See you out there, we are going west, Tommy J came out of water today so I will be on Little Cat with Malcolm and Nobby. Only going to look for Bream, Ray's and Spurs.
