Bramble banker Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Hi guys and lasses, it's been on my mind to get back into diving, when I was in London I was involved with a club but not managed to get back into anything in sunny dorset yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Graham Quote
lofty Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Down. There is a place off Elliot road in Wallisdown I believe Quote
Coddy Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Swanage is the local main centre for diving for all levels. Quote

Rob Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Down. And not up too quickly! If you haven't got time for fishing, how ya gonna go diving? Adam was an active scuba participant, I'm sure he has some contacts! I think Weymouth is the best place locally. Quote
Adam F Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Lots of options. DDS - Dorset Diving Services in Poole is the local shop, Been running for years, very BSAC orientated. Pop in they will link you to a few clubs if that's what you want. A handful of decent boats run from Poole which you can book on individually: Beowolf, Rocket, Sha-King. Swanage is very active. Shop on the pier is Divers Down. they run 3 boats on a shuttle off the pier to local wrecks and reefs. Ditto Weymouth and Portland, lots to choose from. Quote
