Bob F Posted March 31, 2005 Author Report Posted March 31, 2005 ...now, now, be nice lads. A new shop will be interested in promoting themselves and so would be open to offering a discount to club members in exchange for a link on our web site. ...and dispite there sometimes high prices, I have found them to be extremely helpful in giving advice on the procedures for servicing and replacement of parts. If only other shops offered the same sort of service. Having a shop in Poole can only be a good thing. Bob (Indespension) F Quote
Maverick Martin Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 A new shop will be interested in promoting themselves and so would be open to offering a discount to club members Bob (Indespension) F Nice new name it has a kind of ring to it, like no till ringing Was that a firm offer Bob? if so what kind/form of discount did they offer. Most local fishing/boating related businesses offer club members a discount without strings can we expect an extra special deal in return for a link? We have membership cards being printed as we speak so identification of members will not be a problem Martin Quote
Bob F Posted April 4, 2005 Author Report Posted April 4, 2005 Martin, I'll have a chat with Keith. He didn't suggest it, I was just think out loud on the forum. BF Quote

Coddy Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 Adam and I were talking to the new guys from Indespension in Poole at the boat jumble. They seemed very helpful especially as we were discussing brakes and setting them up. Also gave us a few tips on the hitch shock absorber plus fitting rods instead of cables from the over-run to the compensator. In fact one of the guys came over to our stand and we talked about fishing and how he would like to get out to do some fishing but did not have a boat! Told him no problem but will be interesting if he joins the club. Coddy Quote
