Need to purchase some teak

I want to make some teak dinghy tube rests to fit on the roof of Tigerfish so I can put the dinghy up there inflated and strap it down during voyages, eg to Alderney.

 

I've no idea where to buy some lumps of teak to make them from, any suggestions guys?

There is a chap down by F pontoon he makes things in teak he might be worth a try

Its all the same chap, I’ve bought odd bits of teak from him and very helpful.

Best to save up if your after some big bits as it’s not cheap 👍

Ok, I've given him a call, helpful guy.  Even he warned me about the price

Going back year’s ago it was very expensive a bloke ask me too make him something in Teek then told me he could buy it cheaper in town that’s when we had shop’s I then assured him that there is a big difference between solid teak and veneer haha

Try Christchurch Timber, they may have something similar. Iroko is more affordable and used in marine boat framing.
