Steve S Posted January 29, 2020 Report Posted January 29, 2020 I want to make some teak dinghy tube rests to fit on the roof of Tigerfish so I can put the dinghy up there inflated and strap it down during voyages, eg to Alderney. I've no idea where to buy some lumps of teak to make them from, any suggestions guys? Quote

gjb Posted January 30, 2020 Report Posted January 30, 2020 Going back year’s ago it was very expensive a bloke ask me too make him something in Teek then told me he could buy it cheaper in town that’s when we had shop’s I then assured him that there is a big difference between solid teak and veneer haha Quote
Mal Thomas Posted January 31, 2020 Report Posted January 31, 2020 Try Christchurch Timber, they may have something similar. Iroko is more affordable and used in marine boat framing. Jim 1 Quote
