Adam F
James and I shot out (literally!) to the ledge last night for a few hours fishing. DR got us to the bream hole in under 4 mins on a flat calm sea! We arrived at 7.30pm and bites came straight away. I would love to tell you hoards for fat bream awaited us, but they didnt. Pout, poor cod, doggies and wrasse only. We packed up at 9pm and shot back home. Nice to be out, but dissapointed with the fishing. Newboy
Same here on Christchurch Ledge, we were on a chartered and didn't get any bream and other charters around only caught a few, so a poor day overall. Lets hope the 22 is much better.
duncan
As it looks like we will get to fish the ebb, the ebb and not a lot other than the ebb I can't say I'm looking forward to Sunday anymore...........
Guest fish finger
I haven't had much luck with the bream on the ledge either. Have tried about four different places but all resulted in pout, doggies and wrasse. In the end just went the extra distance from xchurch to the patch. Where abouts on the ledge do you usually find the bream? Alex
Maverick Martin
Alex I dont know where on the ledge the boys get Bream but you steamed straight over one of the best marks on your way to Poole Patch. Look for an area on your chart known as Southbourne Rough find some pots and pick a mark close to them. Steam around the pots until you find a nice looking area of rough/broken ground and you will get Bream. If you need more specific instructions PM me for numbers of the general area Martin
