Coloured leads

Does anyone use those coloured leads that are now available? They come in various dayglo colours. Has anyone tried them? Are they worth an extra fish or two?

If anglers buy em, shops will sell em.

I made some wrecking leads in yellow, seemed to make no difference to catch rate (or lack of!!).

I have made a few leads in the past, in various colours

 

but I have never noticed a difference in catch rate to be honest.

 

using the coating on lures, seemed to be a better use for the powder

Agreed - it seems that evidence is hard to come by!
