Rob Posted September 27, 2021 Author Report Posted September 27, 2021 It's not mounted on the bow to get home!!!R Quote
Death Trap II Posted September 27, 2021 Report Posted September 27, 2021 just joking. I had one on my first boat for its intended use, but i found i couldnt get enough speed out of it. Do you use it to hold position against the breeze in deep water? Quote
Rob Posted September 27, 2021 Author Report Posted September 27, 2021 No, it if for creating movement across tide when there is no wind for chum slick, also useful to space baits / floats outs once rebaited Death Trap II 1 Quote
dicky Posted September 27, 2021 Report Posted September 27, 2021 (edited) We had 5 days in Fowey last week. Had a couple of sessions on the sharks landing 8 to over 100lb. Didn't see a single tuna though, last year they were everywhere. We fish around 12-14 miles out. Only caught about 6 mackerel which is a concern!! Rob Posted September 28, 2021 Author Report Posted September 28, 2021 Yes, a few macs, but we had loads of scad and whiting.R Quote
Death Trap II Posted September 28, 2021 Report Posted September 28, 2021 i was in Mylor for the last week in august. The tides were forgiving so i got out every day. Didnt catch a single mac. never seen it like that in the fal in the 15 years i have been fishing there. Normally the problem is keeping them off your lure when you are after other species. But there were two tuna boats going out from mylor while i was there. Quote
