Jim Posted August 28, 2022 Report Posted August 28, 2022 Sorry Mick. No time for fishing yet. Tooooooooooooooooo busy. I do enjoy reading the reports that others post though. 🙂 2006holmwood 1 Quote
boyscott Posted August 28, 2022 Report Posted August 28, 2022 Was out yesterday but it was a long day for little reward. Most of my usual spots were very quiet and I had to make do with a few (very few) smaller species - dogfish, pout, tub, wrasse and small bream - to keep the interest up. Saw just one mackerel all day and even that jumped off as I got it to the surface 😒. The only highlight was a spirited bass on a light lure rod which gave an entertaining tussle. It has to improve surely? Maverick Martin, 2006holmwood, Colin-58 and 1 other 4 Quote
Mike Fox Posted August 28, 2022 Report Posted August 28, 2022 I had a trip out on a charter boat from Poole on Friday 28th August, catching 13 species including a codling, bass, plaice, conger, mackerel, garfish, bream, different wrasses, etc with over 50 fish. Three triggers came aboard too, all being returned. I didnt report the catch, as it was on a charter. Jim, Maverick Martin, Steve S and 3 others 6 Quote
