Mark eggie555 Posted June 5 Report Posted June 5 Hi all I’m looking for the most stable boat for fishing in Poole bay under 250-300kg I’ve looked at the coastliner 14 , seems a bit wobbly in slight swell am I better off looking at a rib maybe, I have a ribeye ts350 atm but don’t feel over confident going out past the chain ferry, tia Quote
Colin-58 Posted June 5 Report Posted June 5 Hi , eggie 555. Do you have a name ? I sat by our " new old club member. " Tom at the meeting Tuesday night , he is mr. Big in ribs I think😄. He should be able to advise you may be a demo even? Well worth getting in touch with him. Don't know how often Tom will check the club site, so if he doesn't pick up on this promptly it may be worth trying Secretary Brian he is brilliant, about some contact details, don't know how that works with this privacy thing , but sure if Brian can help he will . 👍Good luck. Mark eggie555 Posted June 5 Author Report Posted June 5 Hi Colin thanks for the reply, I know Tom sort of , he was kind enough to take me out on a Rafnar a couple of times a few years back , Poole to swanage it was great fun , also with Artur Colin-58 1 Quote
Death Trap II Posted June 9 Report Posted June 9 Can also vouch that most of the Nordic made boats have a freeboard that exceeds their size and cope well in rough seas. I just sold my Bella 500 i am afraid. i love these for a small two person fishing boat https://www.yachtworld.co.uk/yacht/2017-silver-fox-avant-9817651/ Quote
