Oli Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 Time for the start of season big fill - is there much difference in price now between Salterns / Parkstone Bay / CPL? Oli Quote
Maverick Martin Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 I Wouldn't know Oli but do let us know, your findings would interest several of us Martin Quote
Oli Posted June 16 Author Report Posted June 16 So far Salterns £1.57 / l Parkstone Bay (make sure you don't go at low water) £1.45 / l Seems CPL no longer run the pontoon by the bridge and it's run by Certas Energy (and there's no direct phone number so waiting for a call back!) biggcol Posted June 23 Report Posted June 23 You have to keep chasing them if you want an account Quote
Oli Posted June 24 Author Report Posted June 24 As if by magic - just spoken to them and done the forms. Here's the contact details if anyone wants to open an account with Certas: Quote

Oli Posted June 26 Author Report Posted June 26 Currently £1.12 + VAT on a 60/40 split. VAT is 5% if buying under 2300 litres so including everything it's £1.176 per litre Quite a saving Kingfisher 126, Jim and great white 3 Quote
Maverick Martin Posted Tuesday at 11:15 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 11:15 AM I now have an account with Certas and had my first bill with them which was charged as above so loads cheaper than anywhere else in the harbour that I know of. If you have a diesel boat its a no brainer to open an account but unfortunately they do not do petrol. The other benefit is no appointment necessary and available 24/7 Jim, boyscott and plaicemat 3 Quote

jerry.shutter Posted Tuesday at 06:00 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 06:00 PM Hi guys, sorry to put a bit of a spanner in the works, we have used Certas for a number of years for home and agricultural services, they were great to start with but we went away from them 6 months ago as they became VERY uncompetitive, just keep checking round. Maverick Martin Posted Tuesday at 10:57 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 10:57 PM At the moment Jerry Cobbs Quay are a mile away from £1.176 As you say monitor on every fill and change if necessary Jim and jerry.shutter 2 Quote
great white Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago Can get it cheaper in drums, but that is a pain at times. Quote
