Adam F
Thats spot on Bob - mine is the same construction - they pulled out last year when water worked into the screw holes and softened the ply deck - I sealed them up and repositioned the screws - back to normal. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
Maverick Martin
Bob Mavericks pedestals are fitted exactly the same as Adams. Had to take them off a while ago, undid the screws tried to remove them but the sikaflex held them fast. Eventually got them off but that sikaflex stuff sticks like the perverbial. Actually damaged the glass deck removing them. So a load of screws and sikaflex will hold no problem Martin

Bob F
Not sure what you're describing, Gordon. Any chance of a quick sketch? cheers BF
Adam F
He is basically saying that the pedestal base and upright are seprate parts - i.e the up right tube slots into the base. On the Warriors ( and presume the Raiders) they are fixed with sikaflex, but they need additional support. Gordon suggests drilling through the base and into the upright and fixing them with bolts - the Warriors just have 4 hefty rivets which do the job. Hope this is clearer? Fugazi
Bob, I did try to add a sketch but failed, my competence level on computers is not quite up to that of the average 2 year old. However, Adam's clarification hopefully explained it better than any of my ramblings. Gordon H
