Adam F Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 Just a note to thank all involved for the organisation that went into the dinner dance last night at Parkstone Yacht Club. A superb turnout made the evening IMO, and eveything went smoothly. The only negative being the terrible meal that Rach and I had - venison that had been way, way over cooked - tasted like catfood and couldnt cut it with a knife but speaking with others this seemed an exception to the norm? Well done everyone - just need to try harder for a few trophies this year!! Adam & Rach Quote

Thanks also to PYC for allowing us the use of their facilities. Sam excellent leaflet which we shall be using to promote the club. Venue was superb, and contrary to Adam and Rach's exoerience, although slightly overdone for my palate, my venison was very very tender. Sorry I had to scoot before I had chance to Catch Tom doing his gyratory bit on the dancefloor. Great to see so many members and partners enjoying the night. great white Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 Glad you all enjoyed the evening and thanks for the comments Sorry about your meal Adam I wish you had said at the time I could have sorted that out for you, Wendy Sam Dan and I had a great evening even though yesterday hurt a bit we eventually did some work on the boat after collecting the car. Christine behind the bar said it was something to do with lager and volume consumed ???? Me drink ????? surely not A great turn out Charlie . Quote
